Service In Action Program
Covering Soles Service in Action program offers the opportunity for students to create their own community service projects with the support of mentors and present them.
What is Service in Action?
Each school-year, middle and high school students will go through the process of creating and executing community service projects with the support of mentors. Students' mentors will help them through every stage of their project on a weekly basis. Students will be responsible for researching, organising, carrying out, and completing a presentation for their projects by the end of the school year. Upper year high school students who have completed a project with Covering Soles will have the opportunity to become mentors at their schools.
As we grow Covering Soles, we hope to use the presentations to be a part of an annual showcase, where students can gain recognition for the work they've done over the year and have the opportunity to win scholarships.
